WE ALL HAVE AN UMBRELLA.
The Umbrella Project is a K-12 school based program created to help teachers, students and parents reframe our perception of challenges and strengthen the skills of well-being to positively cope with the everyday stresses of life.
Building Your Community’s Umbrella
The Ontario Mutuals are teaming up to spread the Umbrella Project in communities across Ontario. OMIA has committed to funding the Umbrella Project in five Ontario schools already!
We encourage member companies to sponsor schools in their communities, and become leaders in support of this valuable, grassroots program in all our schools.

Build Your Own Umbrella!
Everyone has a choice to build and use their own umbrella. Download the Umbrella Assessment below to uncover opportunities to strengthen your own umbrella and properly protect yourself from the rain.
We Can’t Wait to Hear from You!
Sponsor Schools In Your Community
Some schools have the resources to adopt the Umbrella Project, but many struggle to find funding. Become a leader by sponsoring schools in your community and build the umbrellas of our next generation.
Professional Development at Work
Whether you are a child or an adult, it’s guaranteed to rain in life. Introduce the Umbrella principles and practices to your organization to create a culture of resiliency.
